Superior Safety Rules

SES is committed to providing a safe work environment. We have identified several “Superior Safety Rules” that have high potential for serious injury if not followed 100% of the time. Breaking of these rules or an approved variance will result in immediate termination of employment. For additional information, Click on the safety rule titles to view the safety program.

Vac Truck Operations

1. Manually using the end of a vac hose on an air mover without a manned Safety T/ Vac break.

2. Working within3’ of the end of a vac hose without a hose end control method.

Water Blasting

1. Not operating your own foot pedal or gun.

2. Failing to use a secured AWD while lancing.

Confined Space

1. Entering a Permit Required Confined Space without a permit or controls.

Fall Protection

1. Not using fall protection at heights 4’ or greater from a lower level.

Lockout – Tagout

1. Failing to properly apply locks/tags.

2. Not managing your own or managing someone else’s key/lock/tag.
